Water can be incredibly restorative as well as strengthening. Our state-of-the-art underwater treadmills use resistance training to strengthen muscles, all while limiting gravitational pressure on joints. Our canine pool is heated for comfort and can provide a low impact, high intensity form of exercise for appropriate cases.
Our skilled team of therapists utilize manual skills such as massage and joint manipulations to heal and provide comfort to pets in need. These valuable techniques can help improve flexibility, range of motion, blood flow and decrease pain and discomfort.
Our creative team of rehabilitation technicians will guide your pet through a range of targeted exercises in order to improve flexibility, strengthen weak muscles and reinforce proper body mechanics.
Multiple advanced modalities are available to assist in the rehabilitation process including Cold Laser Therapy, Therapeutic Ultrasound, Electrical Stimulation (NMES, TENS), and Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF)* treatment.
Our team of doctors provide comprehensive exams with their extensive training and tactile knowledge in order to provide our clients with a full understanding of their pet’s physical status. A detailed treatment plan will be provided following assessment.
Our team of therapists is specially trained to complete wheelchair measurements and custom brace fittings for patients who require assistive devices. Please be advised that we require your pet to have completed an evaluation prior to any measurements.
OUR PAST SERVICES
We have a rich history of growth and change at Water4Dogs! While we loved being able to engage in play with open swims, we now exclusively serve patients who require medical rehabilitation and NO LONGER provide group swim, puppy swim, or healthy swims.
Thank you for the beautiful memories and opportunity for our team to grow and improve their valuable skill sets.
We would also like to remember Kodiak, our beautiful Leonberger mascot pictured on the right, we miss you everyday!
